I've avoided it for years because Nikon's software was painfully slow in comparison to Adobe RAW. Lots of image controls, and much better color rendition of RAW images than the Adobe RAW filter in Photoshop as Nikon knows exactly how that camera captures and saves color. Nikon Transfer 2? Please uninstall everything Nikon related from Sierra first. Despite Nikon saying that Capture NX2 doesnt work with Yosemite, El Capitane and Sierra it seems fine if you upgrade the operating system after installing the software. This step may or may not be necessary but it was what I followed. This was more by luck than design so I cannot guarantee the same results.Дisable SIP (system integrity protection). In desperation I copy/pasted the program from her computer to mine and it is now working in Sierra. However, I had earlier installed Capture NX2 on my wife's computer running Yosemite. Users who have Nikon Capture NX2 already installed on their computer before upgrading to El Capitan find the app still works. I had the same issue when I upgraded from Mavericks straight to Sierra.
